Today I was shocked to find out I recieved a copy of Maxim magazine in my mail. I contacted Maxim at 1-800-829-4321 to find out how I was subscribed. They were polite and informed me that it was billed through an eHarmony subscription. I had subscribed to eHarmony for a month, but had deleted my account about 8 months ago. I keep a close watch on my accounts and there as of this moment are no charges for anything suspicious that could be related to the magazine.
After a little research I feel I have gotten to the bottom of this: I am very upset that eHarmony sold my info to Magtracker.com aka bluedolphin. The toll free numbers do not allow you to speak to anyone, they refer you to their website which I could not view because of my cookie settings.
It appears this was a free perk somehow eHarmony felt I needed. I am a Christian and find this type of porn (however "soft Porn") very offensive.
I am a single father with 2 teenage sons living with me. They do not need to be exposed to this type of trash!
NICE JOB eHARMONY - NOT!
