I was trying to buy Foo Fighters pre-sale tickets while at work. Imagine my surprise when I was not able to get to the Ticketmaster home page. I was even more surprised to find out that Ticketmaster that was blocking DIRECTV. This meant that I was not able to attempt to purchase the Foo Fighters pre-sale tickets.
Thursday when the next set of Foo Fighters pre-sale when up, another surprise when I was able to get to Ticketmaster. As I found out about the pre-sale late, I was not able to buy decent seats.
I figured that since the block had been cleared on Thursday, Friday morning would be my best bet for the general on-sale. Again, Ticketmaster blocked DIRECTV.
It seems there is a bit of discrimination from letting certain people get to Ticketmaster.
I even tried to call but the “express service” would only let you go 3 rounds before disconnecting you and the other 800 number was busy.
