The company was referred to me by Allied Van Lines and I figured I would give them a try. They were easy to get on the phone and easy to setup the pick-up of my car and drop-off.
However, when the driver showed up to pick up my car, he could not enter the apartment complex and required a tow truck. What the driver failed to mention was that his trailer disconnects into a smaller truck that he could drive into the complex. I explained that the car was inoperable when I setup the service, but the driver acted surprised. Furthermore, he did not have any ramps to get the car onto his trailer.
My wife and I called the company when the driver told us a tow truck was needed. They did not have an answer to why they couldn't tell us this upfront. We called the local towing company and they were able to help us get the car on the trailer.
The company refunded me $100 for the $75 tow truck fee. However, due to their lack of planning made us delayed by two hours to get on the road.
I would recommend not using this company for shipping due to their lack of surveying of their pick-ups. Moving companies come in and survey the apartment/home before a move to plan ahead.
