Start with trust, how fitting. Neopets froze my old account, reese1966, and my daughters account morgain_le_fae (also a 6 + year account). I had owned it forever it seems, about 7 years and it was my 2nd account. I have been playing since neopets started. I worked hard, stocked my store all night. Many of you actually know/knew me I'm sure. I have been a part of malls, ran a few guilds (the painted neopian). I've been a busy, fun, and honest player. I've never used a bot, like the ones on sites like n e o c o d e x. How funny is that, I am frozen but all of those members of that site still have their shops. I even reported that site to neopets. Seriously go there, look for something and you will see exactly how many neopets players really cheat. What does neopets do about it? Nothing!
I did however break the rules unknowingly. Neopets refused to give my premium charter account back even after explaining what happened and that I misunderstood and/or mistook rules. I was a member before neopets was purchased by nickelodeon and I believe some of the older members like myself are at risk. Neopets has become so strict that many of the things that used to be allowed are not allowed anymore. If you have an older account and have taken a haitus, read their rules before you even play.
After contacting neopets, through an email, I was sent an "automated email" and told I will never be unfroze. I was informed (through hunting the rules) that if you are premium and you do not cancel it that neopets will continue to take money out of your account for premium. If you are ever frozen, call them and cancel. Why is this so bad? Neopets charges REAL MONEY to play a game that they can freeze at will, even if you didn't really do anything, and you cannot even speak to a real person on the phone. I have no refund of my money I've spent over the years on premium, plushies, cards, etc. Let alone the hours and hours of playing. If you choose to play neopets, I beg of you, don't make the same mistake I did and spend real money... (i'd say spend your money on a safer game that has actual customer service ie farmville).
