Good news: Tech capably completed a repair in one attempt that the "factory-trained" tech from another company couldn't handle in three tries. Total cost was $97 for success compared to $250 and failure from the other guys. Tech was friendly, fast and knowledgeable. He knew how to diagnose the problem, had the right equipment and was able to readily explain why this repair was going to work (and the previous attempts had failed).
Bad news: Tech was continuously delayed and showed up about 4 hours later than scheduled. However, he kept us reasonably updated and seemed earnestly apologetic for the delay.
