Bait & Switch??

Many minor negatives but I will share my findings with all of us troubled timeshare owners. First received a call from a "Washington" area code, she states that she is wondering about my timeshare and that she is not calling from Florida (head of all the
scam timeshare resellers, although it turns out that she is making it seem as if Florida is bad yet headquarters of her company are in Florida!), that she is part of a consumer advocate group (B.S.!), that since timeshares no rent out the very same rooms we
own that we in essence legally shouldn't have to pay for our dues anymore, so I am thinking this might be a law firm with a massive tort case (sign me up). I take the follow up phone call and it turns out to be a non consumer advocate company from Florida
and they will take my timeshare off my hands if I pay them $5500 (which is roughly my next 7 years of dues so from year 8 and on I am saving a lot of money) well they then turn around and sell it to another company and double dip. My thoughts are I want to
find the other company and cut out the middle man and save $5500. The supervisor gets on the phone with me and I tell him I can sell mine on Ebay and he says go ahead and try, I said that on Ebay that there is a "Completed Sold Listings" section and actually
dozens of my timeshares location have sold ranging anywhere from $1 to $1000 and the average is $500, he says go ahead and try again, I said even if I only get a $1 I'm still up $5500 from y'all and they are selling, he says thanks bye. I emailed timeshare
resellers for a quote as they seem to be a buyer and am crossing my fingers.
