I own three IBM Notebooks and a few HP, My Lenovo T400 wich I just received great notebook works great has a great battery life, does not run hot when operating for a long time, But the DVD rom makes a loud noise when evr I am watching a movie, contacted their tech support which I am glad speaks English, had replaced it countless times but still makes a loud noise. I sent it up for service and when I got it back the noise is still there. I do not know it is because the DVD ROM is so small or is it a defect in the unit itself.
But besides that this one problem it is the best notebook I own,
