ADVICE:
FIND A REALTOR AND ASK THEM ABOUT LOCAL LISTING FOR RENT; THEY WILL HELP YOU OR DIRECT YOU TO A REPUTABLE COMPANY THAT WILL HELP YOU USUALLY AT NO CHARGE.
SCAM:
They have changed their name and location, they used to be Home Sweet Home and some others; their last location was Colton.
I was moving from Minnesota to California and I paid the fee and my boyfriend (who lives in the Inland Empire) received the listing and looked at the houses. There was not one of the listings that had valid information or when we contacted the owners the properties were not for rent at all.
The owner and her employees were rude and refused to give a refund within the timeframe and refused to make anything right.
When I finally moved with no place to live, I visited their office. The receptionist was very nice and was trying to help but the owner refused to do the right thing and refund my money. As we were discussing the issues another couple came into the office and after hearing the issues left; the owner threatened to call the police on me stating that she is losing business. I was not rude, did not swear (even though she did), I did not raise my voice (even though she did) and I was very polite and professional the entire time I was in their office.
The receptionist stated after I left and she met me outside that she was very sorry and that she was leaving the company because of their shady dealings.
SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND USE A REALTOR TO LOCATE A PROPERTY OR A GOOD PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY THAT DOES NOT CHARGE YOU.
