The work was good. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. HOWEVER, one of my younger palm trees was stripped so bare, I really don't know if it will survive. There are only two palm froms left and one of them is breaking off. Also, when my gardener came on his regular day, he automatically checked the sprinklers in my back yard. One of the water pipes to the sprinkler system was broken. According to the gardener, the break was obvious, and whoever broke it, knew it.
When I called HLI and spoke to Leonard, he basically told me "tough" and to look at my contract. They are not responsible for sprinklers systems. First, I HAVE NO CONTRACT. We accepted the HLI bid/proposal on a proposal sheet and it says absolutely nothing about sprinklers.
I worked in marketing for years before I retired. No matter how good you do your job, if you don't finish it, it leaves a very bad taste in the mouth of your customer. In your case, your proposal claims a "complete cleanup" which should have included replacing what you broke.
