I had a few past due accounts through a credit union that I was a member of. Then unfortunately I had lost my job. My credit union then after a while sent me to collections when I had stopped making payments on all of my accounts all together. Creditors Specialty Service helped me and worked with me when my budget was tight. They put me on a payment program that I was able to afford until finally I was able to borrow some money from a family member and got a outstanding settlement from CSS. After dealing with CSS and beginning those payments I was able to rebuild my credit. Once I was able to find a job I was able to get a new auto loan and have 2 new credit cards in my wallet. To everyone who is blaming a collection agency for there financial immaturity is wasting there time and could have almost been done or completely paid off there bill. Quit blaming other people for you own personal malfunction and own up to what you created.
