I absolutely cannot believe what this company is doing is legal. Thank goodness I called tonight after I noticed that they were still deducting money out of my checking account for a $300.oo loan that I THOUGHT was paid off. When I took out the loan in early December I had spoken with a rep who told me that we could make arrangements to have it PAID in 4 installments plus a $70.00 service fee. That is NOT what happened. To date, they have taken out 587.00 from my checking account AND I was told tonight that IF I paid it off by Friday of this week I could avoid a higher fee and the pay off would be an ADDITIONAL $201.00. By the time I get out from under this nightmare, I will have paid back $788.00. Lesson learned....next time I'll use my credit card. It's a lot cheaper to pay off.
