Well, I’m not very happy. It’s mostly with Bikram’s franchise in Columbia Maryland I have been going Bikram Yoga for many years, and go between 5 and 6 days a week. I was frequently going to Columbia as its on my way to work. One day I was greeted by the owner, but greeted was not really the word. More like verbally abused over previous over some previous classes where I may have been minute or two late. Hey, class is in rush-hour, and it happens. But even in times when I or classmates arrive before class has begun, the office person would lock the door and pretend she did not see us. Then and only when the class finally starts would she come up to the door and say it was too late. I should have been the one screaming and not him. It was totally unprofessional for him to begin yelling in the hall with others. When I questioned him about it, he said he did not have to answer. After the class I left very distraught. I suffer from an illness which they are aware of. They know I need this, yet they act in such an unprofessional manner. A few weeks later I gain the courage to return, but only to find out that all the sessions I had purchased (I had bought quite a few as part of a package) had expired, and they would not give me a refund for the unused ones (unless bought new packages).
I attempted to get Bikrams HQ involved, but they have said nothing. I suppose their franchise fees do not in any way obligate them to assist the people who are the reason they are in business in the first place. This is unfortunate.
