DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IF YOU ARE USING THEM, STOP PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY. THEY ARE A SCAM! AT BEST THEY DO ONLY WHAT YOU CAN DO COMPLETELY ON YOUR OWN BY CALLING THE IRS. THAT IS THE SCAM WHEN THEY TELL YOU TO IGNORE THE IRS LETTERS. YOUR CREDIT WILL BE RUINED IF YOU IGNORE THE IRS.
I saw the commercial on TV, and gave them a call. The high pressure sales guy promised me he would at least take care of the 12,000 dollars in penalties and interest that was tacked on to my original 26,000 dollars that I owed the IRS. I only make 70,000 per year supporting my wife and child.
Quick math, who wouldn't think that was a sure thing paying them 5,000 dollars to save at least 7,000, with the hopes of cutting what I owe in half.
Supporting my family, I hardly had enough money to pay my bills, and obviously didn't have 5,000 dollars in the bank. I setup payments, and they promised that I would be getting my IRS debt cut in half before I even finished paying them my 5,000. I ended up paying them 500 per month. Months and months went by and whenever I called they kept promising, and telling me it would take time. IRS letters kept coming in the mail and they told me to ignore them. Twice they charged me 3 times what they were supposed to take out of my account, causing 8 bounced checks, and 240 dollars in bounced check fees.
I should have did my homework. Now my credit is completely ruined, the IRS is taking 900 dollars a month from me. I'm up to almost 45,000 that I owe them now. Sure I can afford another house payment, no problem!
