Hi Timothy,

Transfer Smart has an excellent BBB rating with only two complaints. Check out their report at the link above your question.

Please keep in mind timeshare companies, are companies that will take title to your timeshare using all of the procedures required by the timeshare company. These companies require that you pay them to take the timeshare off your hands. It sounds counterintuitive but it does get you out from under the continuing obligations and the truth is, there are almost no buyers for timeshares.

The most important thing to remember when it comes to the secondary market for timeshares is to never pay any type of upfront fee. Many of these seminars are simply a hard sell presentation to convince you that your ownership is absolutely worthless, and that you in fact need to pay a company thousands of dollars in advance fees to have them take over your ownership.. They then take these properties and sell them for $1. on websites such as eBay.. If you are absolutely desperate to be rid of the unwanted week- save your cash and place an ad on eBay yourself. If it doesn't sell the first time, try again.. You can pay for an awful lot of ads for $2500 to $3500! Another option is to try and contact a respected brokerage specializing in timeshare resales. The Progressive Real Estate Agency accepts both standard listings as well as liquidation listings (for resorts with little resale value) and never requires any type of upfront fee! A legitimate broker or reseller only gets paid at closing! There are literally thousands of timeshare scams right now, simply preying on consumers who don't understand how the secondary market works.. Before making any decision- take the time to do some online research and learn as much as possible to protect yourself from scams! I don't know about this company, but I recommend you Mexican Timeshare solutions. Is a legitimate company that helps timeshare owners to cancel timeshare contracts. Their webpage is http://www.timesharescam.com/

Hello! I am new to Trust Link but I am very experienced when it comes to managing timeshares. I had not heard of Transfer Smart prior to coming across this thread but after some research I found out that they currently hold an F rating with the BBB: http://www.bbb.org/losangelessiliconvalley/business-reviews/vacation-time-share/transfer-smart-in-torrance-ca-100092294 If you are looking for a company that you can trust to help you transfer out of your timeshare contract I would go with Resort Exit Team. They currently hold an A+ rating with the BBB and have helped me with my get out of 2 timeshares. https://resortexitteam.com/
